Battery chemistry: LiFePO4 vs NMC vs lead-acid
LiFePO4 is the default for home and off-grid storage: thousands of cycles, about 90% usable depth of discharge and lower fire risk. Lead-acid is cheap but should stay above 50% charge. NMC is lighter but ages faster.
