Submit your real solar production
Have a few months of production data? Send the kWh and the proof. SolarSized sizes systems from NREL PVWatts sun hours and standard loss assumptions. Real output from real roofs tells us how close those estimates land by state and season.
What counts as proof
- A screenshot of your monitoring app (Enphase Enlighten, SolarEdge, Tesla, Sunpower/SunStrong, Fronius, Victron VRM) showing kWh for the day, month or year.
- Make sure the period and total are visible. Crop out your address and account number.
- Or a link to a public PVOutput.org system or a post that shows the same numbers.
What happens next
- Your entry lands in a private review queue. Nothing is published automatically.
- We check the photo or link against your numbers, the product's published specs and our own estimate. Results that don't add up get an email question (if you left one) or are set aside.
- Verified results appear on the matching page as a Verified owner test, credited to the name or handle you gave, or "a reader" if you left it blank. Photos are only published after review, with personal details cropped or blurred.
Tips for a clean measurement
- Use DC system size (panel count × panel watts), not the inverter's AC rating.
- A full month or a full year is far more useful than a single sunny day.
- Mention shading, snow cover, clipping or downtime so we can compare fairly with PVWatts.
